Paul Dove
It is with great sadness that we have to announce that our former treasurer, Paul Dove, passed away on 26th July. Paul was a stalwart supporter of carnival for sixteen years and oversaw the growth of carnival from a weekend of activities to what we have today, a fabulous and varied programme spanning six weeks and over sixty events. Paul's stewardship of carnival finances ensured that we were able to give away many tens of thousands of pounds to local good causes. Paul will be sadly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him, a genuine all round good chap. Our thoughts are with Paul's daughters, Megan and Katy, his partner Lisa and with his family and friends.
